Discipline
Dignity of conduct is an expected norm from all students of the College. They are expected to abide by the dress code while working in laboratories to avoid accidents. Those not conforming to the disciplinary norms may be required to leave the College.

Attendance
Each semester is considered as a unit and a minimum of 85% attendance in each of the subjects of Theory; Practical and drawing is required to qualify for appearing in the semester ending examinations. If a candidate has less than 85% of attendance in aggregate but not less than 70% of attendance in each of the subjects of the semester, permission may be accorded by the Vice-Chancellor on the recommendations of the Principal of the College condoning attendance shortage to the extent of 15% per subject after the payment of a Penal Fee as prescribed by the University. The list of such candidates with the amount of fine collected is submitted to the Registrar (Evaluation) of the University well before the commencement of the Practical/Theory Examinations.

Internal Assessment Marks/Session Marks
Each subject has a maximum of 25 Internal Assessment marks in theory and practical. The Internal assessment marks in a theory subject is based on two tests conducted normally at the end of 8th and 12th week of each semester.

Examinations
The examination system of the College is in accordance with the norms of the Visveswaraiah Technological University, Belgaum, for the entire period of 8 Semesters
